SNOW STAKE CAM
"Skiing can be a space for Indigenous people to connect with the land and experience the joy with these elements that have always been a part of our cultures." - Connor Ryan (Lakota)

As a part of the multifaceted There Is Snow On The Ground art installation, the new snow stake is emblazoned with patterns created by artists Jordan Craig and Vernan Kee. While it still serves to measure snowfall, the snow stake also acts as a catalyst for critical conversations about land, climate, and ecosystems. Learn More.
* Snow depth is indicated at the middle of the numbers and this snow stake is cleared at 4pm each day. For our official snow totals, visit our mountain report page.
