The Winter Park NASTAR race course is on the lower portion of Cranmer, just above the Snoasis mid-mountain lodge. The race course is set and maintained by our professional race crew in a dual format so you can race side-by-side with your friends and family, or just race against the clock to try to improve your time. NASTAR medals are awarded based on your time in either platinum, gold, silver or bronze, based on how fast you ski relative to our pacesetters. Through NASTAR's unique pacesetting system, you can find out how you would stack up against U.S. National Champion Daron Rahlves on our course. Who's going to get the bragging rights in your group?

Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities are welcome to race. Simply stop by the start house at the top of the course between 11am and 2:30pm daily from mid-December through April 12 to sign up, and you'll be ready to go! On days of particularly heavy or deep new snow, NASTAR may not be able to open, or may open with only one race course.

Groups rates available for 25 or more
Have a fun race for your ski group, company, or family reunion. Complete with your own results and medals! Must register in advance.

The group pricing below includes two runs of racing, a results printout and NASTAR medals. Additional arrangements can be made (private use of NASTAR course, coaching, unlimited runs, awards area, etc) for an additional fee arranged in advance through the Competition Center.

Youth & Senior: $70

NASTAR season passes are available in the Season Pass office in the Balcony House. This pass does not include lift access.
