Coca-ColaŽ Spring Splash
Winter Park Resort's Coca-ColaŽ Spring Splash is the oldest tradition of its kind and on its 40th year. Athletes begin at 12pm as spectators watch skiers and riders struggle through obstacles on the Larry Sale trail race course and attempt to skim across an icy pond to reach the finish line and post a time. Live music sets the tone for a closing day party that is totally entertaining and fun.

REGISTRATION
Sunday, April 13, 8-10:30am: Guest Services, Balcony House, base of Winter Park Resort. $20 entry fee; $39 lift and entry fee, $15 employee entry fee. Limited to the first 100 participants. 18 and over, must show proof of age. Pre-registration is now closed.
NEW THIS YEAR- Every registered participant in Spring Splash will be entered to win two round trip tickets on Southwest Airlines and a $50 Hertz Rental Car Voucher.
LIVE MUSIC BY GREAT AMERICAN TAXI in the Plaza from 2:30-6pm
Touring relentlessy in 2007 supporting their debut CD release "Streets of Gold," and with over 200 plus shows behind them in their short time together, Great American Taxi has built a hefty following the old fashioned way. With front-man Vince Herman at the wheel, people will recognize threads of the Leftover Salmon fabric all the while being driven by original songwriting and musicianship from guitarist/vocalist Jefferson Hamer and keyboardist/vocalist Chad Staehly. The rhythm section and axles of the ride are supplied by well-seasoned veterans Jake Coffin on drums/vocals and Edwin Hurwitz on bass guitar. Jake spent years on the road with Dan Bern and Edwin clocked many miles with 90's jambands Shockra and Skin. Great American Taxi traffics their collective past helping create their new Americana without borders brand of music.
