Mountain

The 08/09 ski season comes to a close on Sunday, April 19 with our 41st annual Spring Splash.

Beginning Monday, April 20, Winter Park Resort is not open to the public for skiing. The mountain will be closed to all unauthorized users, including but not limited to: skiers, riders, skinners, sledders, and snowmobilers. Hiking and showshoeing is permitted. However, logging operations and vehicles are to be expected and avoided. Rescue services are not provided when the resort is closed.

Winter Park Resort will open for Summer 2009 on Saturday, June 13.

Lifts open at 9am weekdays and 8:30am weekends and holidays. Most Lifts close at 4pm; however, both the Panoramic Express and the Pioneer Express close at 3pm. Trails may open or close during the day. Check out the status on-mountain if you are unsure.

New trail construction started last fall on 9.8 miles of Gravity Logic-designed trails. You will be able to ride two new trails on opening day, conditions permitting. Construction on additional trails is expected to continue through the summer.
The Village at Winter Park Resort takes shape for the 2008/2009 ski season. Summer construction will give way to new retail, restaurant and living space – not to mention a brand new cabriolet from the Vintage parking lot to our new base.
