Progress is evident as you drive by the Winter Park Resort entrance off of Highway 40. The towers for the new Village Cabriolet have been set and the communication line is currently being put into place. Concrete work is being completed at the bottom of the new lift and backfill and grading are underway at the top. Next up is the installation of the top terminal and haul rope followed by putting the cabins into place.
Construction on The Village at Winter Park is also moving along well with the pavers and walkways currently be put into place and the finishing touches are underway on the new ice skating pond. Get ready to visit with Santa this holiday season in our new Gazebo that is also under construction.

Construction on the Village at Winter Park is really coming along well and we are eagerly anticipating its opening this November/early December. We are pleased to announce the addition of two new dining options and four new stores to the Village all scheduled to open in December 2008.
Lime is an American Cantina specializing in fresh Mexican food and mighty margaritas. The menu features some novel takes on traditional Mexican food including the traditional Japanese edamame spiced with dipping sauce; chile rellenos and sweet corn tamales. As for dessert, the key lime pie strikes exactly the right note of tangy sweetness.
Cheeky Monk Belgian Beer Café is old world atmosphere with a modern twist. Featuring the world’s finest beers paired with spectacular food, Cheeky Monk serves only Belgian beers on draught and many more in the bottle. Guests can pair a fine beer with Belgian/American cuisine such as Moules Frites, a warm bowl of Waterzooi or a Liege style sugar waffle while socializing in a comfortable bistro style setting reminiscent of 19th century Belgium.
Shopping opportunities available this season will include the Shirt Off My Back, known for souvenir apparel.
Also opening this ski season will be the Village Cabriolet. This free, open-air gondola will shuttle guests between the free parking lot at the Vintage Hotel and drop them off right at the entrance to all the excitement.
