MORE LODGING ADDS INCREASED VALUE TO WINTER PARK RESORT

- Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe Add Nearly 200 New Units to Base Area

Winter Park, Colo., Winter 2008/09 – Located just 67 miles northwest of downtown Denver, Colorado, Winter Park Resort offers destination visitors an easy winter escape to one of Colorado's largest, most diversified ski/ride resorts.  Spanning over 3,078 acres, Winter Park Resort is Colorado's fourth largest ski resort and for the 2008/09 season, Winter Park Resort will unveil a brand new base village with exciting restaurants, shops, and accommodations just steps away from the slopes. 

Lodging at Winter Park Resort:
New! Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe: Just a short walk to Winter Park Resort's shops and chairlifts, these two new buildings are comprised of studios, one, two and three bedroom condos and feature such amenities as access to an outdoor spa, fireplace, and BBQ, not to mention private underground parking, storage lockers, and high-speed internet.

New! The Lofts:  The Lofts are considered Winter Park Resort's most high-end two and three bedroom suites located above the heart of the new Village at Winter Park Resort.  Their ideal location is just steps from the fun and entertainment of the Village as well as the slopes, and they offer breathtaking views of Winter Park and Mary Jane Mountains. 

Zephyr Mountain Lodge:  Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a rustic and contemporary ski-in/ski-out lodge with a slopeside location at the base of the Zephyr Express chairlift. This unique, two building property is comprised of 230 condominiums ranging from one to three bedrooms.  Each building has a private outdoor hot tub and heated underground parking.  In addition, a variety of shops and restaurants are located on the ground floor in the Zephyr Plaza, including: Starbucks, Showcase Snowboards and Demo Center, Mountain Adventure Center and Demo Center, Doc's Roadhouse, Trail's End Mercantile, and Rocky Mountain Eyewear. 

The Vintage Hotel: Located at the entrance to Winter Park Resort, The Vintage Hotel features 118 rooms with beautiful mountain vistas and is the closest lodging option to the resort that is pet-friendly. The full-service Vintage Hotel has traditional rooms, studios, and one and two bedroom suites with many rooms featuring kitchenettes and gas fireplaces.  Five Mountain Tavern, located just inside the lobby, is the perfect place to meet friends before or after hitting the slopes and offers a "children eat free" program.  The Vintage Hotel also boasts an outdoor pool, hot tub, meeting space, an onsite ski / snowboard rental shop, business center and it's the only lodging property with direct access to the Village Cabriolet. 

Additional lodging is available in the town of Winter Park and throughout the Fraser Valley through Winter Park Central Reservations (WPCR), which offers all-inclusive packages or lodging-only reservations.
