See the Best Slopestyle Riders From Around the World Compete in Trestle Bike Park

Winter Park, CO – Summer, 2009 – Crankworx Colorado Freeride Mountain Bike Festival returns for its third year to Winter Park Resort July 30 – Aug. 2, 2009.  Building on two years of momentum, Crankworx Colorado will be this year's home to the North American Championships, attracting the best slopestyle riders from around the world.

"Numerous mountain biking events have unfortunately been cancelled worldwide due to the challenging economic conditions.  We feel that the support Crankworx Colorado has received from sponsors is a testament to the event's success and the exposure to the sport that it provides." said Bob Holme, Winter Park Resort's bike park and youth marketing manager.

This year, Crankworx is the qualifier for the Kokanee Slopestyle Event and has a combined purse of $35,000 up for grabs.  Expect to see a bigger vendor area with one of the largest downhill mountain bike demo spaces in the United States.  Even if you're not an avid downhill rider, the Crankworx Colorado event is sure to entice you to try it.
