New Brand – Trestle Bike Park – Reaches Out to a Downhill Mountain Biking Audience
Winter Park, Colo., May 16, 2008 – Starting today, May 16, fans of Winter Park Resort's downhill mountain bike scene will have a new web site to turn to for the latest information on the resort's downhill mountain bike park – Trestle Bike Park. TrestleBikePark.com and Trestle Bike Park are both new names designed by Winter Park Resort to reach out to its specific mountain bike audience. The new web site houses information on trail updates, ticket and pass pricing, events, safety information, maps of the park's 28 miles of trail, and the latest updates on its potential future terrain expansion.
"It was an easy decision to brand our bike park under a name that is less synonymous with winter," said Bob Holme, bike park and youth marketing manager. "Trestle Bike Park continues to evolve with the potential for new trails and with big mountain bike events like Crankworx Colorado. It is important to Winter Park Resort that its messaging reflects this."
Over the past two years, Winter Park Resort's Trestle Bike Park crew has worked hard to upgrade the resort's trail system with fun and sustainable terrain. Pending United States Forest Service approval, Trestle Bike Park stands to gain 20 new trail segments over the next three years, totaling 9.5 miles of new trail. With riders anxious for more information, TrestleBikePark.com offers a single place to visit for the latest construction and approval updates.
TrestleBikePark.com is now live; Trestle Bike Park is scheduled to open on Saturday, June 14, 2008 for Winter Park Resort's official opening day for summer.
