WINTER PARK RESORT SLIDES INTO THE NEW YEAR WITH ITS FIFTH ANNUAL JINGLE RAILS RAIL JAM EVENT

Winter Park, Colo., December 27, 2007 - Winter Park Resort invites guests to kick off the New Year at the fifth annual Jingle Rails Rail Jam taking place just above the base of Winter Park Resort on lower Village Way, December 31, 2007 starting at 12:15 p.m. Winter Park Resort's Jingle Rails Rail Jam will feature 50 of the region's top snowboarders competing for over $4000 in cash prizes on some of the resort's toughest rails; a post party and awards ceremony at the Derailer Bar, as well as fireworks in downtown Winter Park.
During Jingle Rails, each rider has approximately 45 minutes to showcase their skills and impress the judges as they battle it out for a spot in the finals. The top three men and women will then compete head-to-head for 30 minutes for all the cash and bragging rights! Guests are invited to watch from the decks of the Derailer Bar and stay for the post party and New Year's Eve celebration starting at 4:30 p.m.
Jingle Rails Rail Jam Schedule:
12:15 – 1 p.m. – Women's Heat (top three advance to finals)
1:15 – 2 p.m. – Men's Heat #1
2:15 – 3 p.n. – Men's Heat #2 (top three advance to finals)
3:30 – 4 p.m. – Finals
4:30 p.m. – Post Party and Awards at the Derailer Bar
10 p.m. – Fireworks in Downtown Winter Park
