Volunteer Host

Winter Park Volunteer Resort Hosts are an enthusiastic team of guest-oriented skiers and snowboarders, who work hard to enhance everyone's experience at Winter Park Resort. They are outgoing and friendly, with an excellent knowledge of Winter Park Resort. The team has a passion for guest service - assisting guests with exceptional service is our primary goal.

Daily duties include greeting and assisting guests, on-mountain tours, lift-line organization, market research, trail map and brochure distribution, continual guest contact, service and farewell. Strong intermediate ski or snowboard ability is required for on-mountain duties. Non-skiing applicants are also encouraged to apply for morning-only base area duty.

Volunteer Resort Hosts must complete 2 training days and a minimum of 10 workdays.  They earn either a season pass (15 work days) or transferable 1-day lift tickets (10 work days). Mandatory training days for next winter season are December 6 & 7, 2008.

Click here for further program details and a 2008-09 application form.  For specific questions, e-mail Volunteer Host Manager.  The deadline for applications for the 2008-09 winter season is August 1, 2008.
