Our new All-Terrain Program (ATP) has been designed for expert skiers who want to ski at a high level on Winter Park's expert terrain and improve their skills with the help of our exceptional coaching staff. The ATP team will focus on tree skiing, steeps and powder techniques. This program is a natural progression for Park Sharks, Team Discovery, and Freestyle Devo skiers who want to keep skiing at a high level but aren't interested in freestyle or alpine competition. It is also a great program for expert skiers moving on from Piranhas, Marlins, and the Eskimo Ski Club, or any strong expert teenage skier who wants consistent coaching and a fun peer group. The program is offered to skiers ages 13-18. The program starts on Saturday, December 1, 2007. Click here for the ATP program flyer.
The 2008/2009 season information will be available in August.
The Parent Kahunas program has been created with parents of children in Competition Center programs. The Kahunas will provide adults with an environment to improve their own skills, meet other parents, and learn about our programs. Kahunas will get a hands on understanding of what their children are learning in our programs. The program will also introduce adults to the other possibilities available to them in the Competition Center and give them the confidence and skills to join our Alpine or Freestyle Masters programs if they so desire. Fun on the mountain will be paramount to the program. Click here for the Kahunas program flyer.
