Race and Travel
This page will give you some general information about signing up for and getting to the races that we will be participating in. All of the races we travel to are sanctioned by the US Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) and require USSA membership to attend. To sign up with USSA, fill out the USSA membership application here.
We will have a registration table to help answer your questions and receive payments for all these events every Saturday and Sunday that we have training at the base of the stairs to the Competition Center office from 3:00-4:00pm
Race Registration Process
To find out what races your group will be participating in, pull up the program information flyer for your team by clicking here. The race schedule is on the lower right side of the flyer.
There are two steps to sign up for the races (remember you must have your USSA membership up-to-date).
- Sign up for the event using the Event Sign-Ups link on our members website www.teamwinterpark.org. This will indicate to us you plan to attend. For events that involve team travel or lodging, you will sign up for these here.
- You will not be confirmed for the event until you bring payment and signed release forms (if required by the hosting ski area) to the Competition Center. We have a registration table set up at the base of the stairs to the Comp Center office every Saturday and Sunday between 3:00 and 4:00pm, please bring payment and release forms at this time. Payment for the races must be made by check only. Cash and credit cards will not be accepted. The advantage to coming between 3:00 and 4:00 is that the table is staffed with an expert on the events that can answer your specific questions about the event. Our front desk staff does not have all the details about every event.
The deadline for event registration is generally one week prior to the event. Signups for van or lodging are earlier than that (team van and lodging are only arranged for Smartwool and Rocky Mountain Trophy Series races). For other races that may require an overnight stay, we will try to arrange for a group discount on a block of rooms at a certain hotel, check the event signup information on www.teamwinterpark.org for reservation information.
