| Fred Nolting | Lead Echo Mountain Coach/J3 & J4 Coach |
|---|---|
| Fred is the veteran of the staff, with twenty five years of coaching at Winter Park. Growing up just outside of Chicago didn't give him much of a chance to ski as a kid, but when he came out to Denver University on a football scholarship and they dropped their football program a year later, Fred got hooked on skiing. For years Fred coached the J5's at Winter Park and was widely regarded as one of the most successful J5 coaches in the country. Fred's knack for keeping his racers in line and working hard without them even knowing it because they're having so much fun comes from Fred's passion for skiing that spreads to all he coaches. Fred's groups never come in until the lifts close and he's usually there with them. |
