In the more than twenty years that Team Winter Park has conducted summer camps, we have seen amazing turnarounds in the skiing of our camp participants. Summer camps are an excellent place for athletes to immerse themselves in the sport that they love, without the pressures of racing and school. The environment is more relaxed, the weather is warm, and there is more time to spend on the fundamentals of the sport. There is also time to build stronger relationships with teammates and coaches and to engage in fun activities off the ski hill as well as on-snow. We welcome skiers from other teams to join our camps, and often new friendships develop that last through seasons to come. We encourage you to read about our camps below, and hope you can join us this summer for some great skiing, and more!
In August we build on the technical skills learned in May and June and start to move into more gate drills and test line and speed. This time of year is excellent in Mt. Hood with fewer crowds, good snow, and good carryover into fall and winter training.

For FIS racers looking to maximize their summer training, we are offering additional training options in July, September, and October. The July training is in cooperation with the Aspen Valley Ski Club, with GS and speed training in Chile. September training will be at Mt. Hood, and our October prep camp will either be at Mt. Hood or in Europe, depending on cost. For details on all these camps, contact Jeff Burrows at (970) 726-1598 or email.
