To get to Winter Park Resort from all points around the Denver area, find your way to I-70 heading West out of Denver. Follow I-70 West approximately 40 miles to Exit 232 to Winter Park, Empire and Granby. Follow Exit 232 onto Hwy 40 which will take you over Berthoud Pass (great photo ops) and to Winter Park. Mileage from Exit 232 to Winter Park is approximately 24 miles. Total mileage from Denver is 67 miles. Winter Park Resort is located on Winter Park Drive, Winter Park, Colorado 80482.

SUMMER PARKING:
Parking is available for Resort summer activity guests in our Vintage Lot next to our main entrance off Highway 40 on Winter Park Drive. Shuttle service from the lot to the WP Village is provided from 9:30 am-6:15 pm (last run from base), continuous approximately every 10 minutes.  Our "free" close-in Parking Garage will open in early July.  After the garage opening, shuttle service from the Vintage Lot will be provided on weekends and Holidays only.

 

Parking is also available in the North Bench Lot in Old Town.  It is accessed through the North entrance and is an easy walk to the WP Village.


Transportation

Not planning on renting a car and driving to Winter Park?  No problem!  There are a variety of transportation services ready and willing to get you where you need to go.

Winter Park Resort now offers you the option of having your luggage, ski and snowboard equipment shipped ahead, enabling you to bypass all the hassles of checking bulky gear. Once you're done skiing, simply leave your bags at your destination and they'll be returned to your home.

Property Guidelines

Maximum Occupancy:
Occupancy maximums are very important for the benefit of all our guests in order to minimize wear and tear on the various property options available, to reduce housekeeping costs, and to maintain fire codes. Guests who show up with more people in their group than indicated when the reservation was booked will be responsible for any extra guest charges. Children under the age of two are not included in the number of guests.

Smoking:
Most of the lodging properties in the area are strictly non-smoking. Guests can smoke on private balconies. Not adhering to the policies of the specific property may result in a cleaning surcharge for linens, carpets and furnishings.

Pets:
With the exception of Seeing Eye and medical assistance dogs, pets are only permitted in a few select lodging properties.
