Symptoms include:

Rest is the key to treating mild forms of altitude sickness. Avoid over-exertion, eat lightly and drink extra fluids during your first two days at altitude. Try to avoid alcohol and caffeine for the first day or two.
If your symptoms become worse rather than better, you should contact a doctor. Extreme cases may require a medication.
In case of injury:
1. Do not remove the injured person's skis.
2. Cross your own skis uphill from the incident and send someone to report the location, type of injury and description of the injured skier.
3. If you are reporting an injury on the mountain via a cellular phone, call the Ski Patrol at 970-726-1480 or 911.
Bartenders $1 per beverage or for multiple beverages 15-20% of the total bill.
Beauty Shop/Hair Salon 15% of total bill.
Cloakroom Attendants If there is a charge for the service, a tip is not necessary, however, if there is no charge, or extra care is taken with your coat and/or bags, a $1-$2 tip is appropriate.
Concierge Tip for special services such as making restaurant or theater reservations, arranging sightseeing tours, etc. The amount of the tip is generally dependent on the type and complexity of service(s) provided $2 to $10 is a standard range. You may elect to tip for each service, or in one sum upon departure. If you want to ensure special treatment from the concierge, you might consider a $10-$20 tip upon arrival.
Hired Van transport Drivers to/from the airport $5 per bag

DEHYDRATION
High mountain air is very dry and may cause dehydration. Your normal body fluid loss can be twice as great at altitude so adult guests should strive to drink at least eight glasses of water per day. Being dehydrated can be a contributing factor to altitude sickness. Water in Winter Park and the Fraser Valley is perfectly fine for drinking right out of the tap.ALCOHOL/LIQUOR LAWS
Beer, wine and liquor may be purchased at specialty liquor stores until 12:00 AM Mondays through Saturdays and 6:00 pm on Sundays. Alcohol is not served at bars and restaurants beyond 2:00 AM on any night of the week. A valid form of photo identification (passport or international driver's license, etc.) may be required upon purchase of alcohol or for entry to bars and nightclubs. The minimum age for buying alcohol or consuming alcoholic beverages in the United States is 21 years of age.SMOKING

ATM machines accept most cards for a small fee and are located at various on-mountain locations and throughout town. Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards are widely accepted at our resort and throughout town, in addition to Traveler’s Cheques.IN CASE OF INJURY OR EMERGENCY
What to do if you are in an accident and need assistance or see an injury Red parkas with white crosses identify Winter Park Resort's Ski Patrol. They can be contacted by using a mountain emergency phone (red box with white cross) or through a lift operator. Ski patrol assistance is included in the cost of a lift ticket. Injuries requiring the attention of Seven Mile Medical Clinic or any other medical provider are not included in the cost of the lift ticket and will be the responsibility of the patient.In case of injury:
